Who we are
The Wilfrid Laurier University Islamic Information Association (WLU IIA) is a student-led organization dedicated to fostering understanding, appreciation of Islam within the Laurier community, as well as support for Muslim students.
Our Objectives
Education
To provide accurate information about Islam and its teachings through workshops, guides, and events.
Community
To create a welcoming environment for Muslim students and promote interfaith dialogue.
Support
To offer support and resources for Muslim students navigating their academic and personal lives.
Current Projects
We arere collecting gently used clothing (hijabs, scarves, abayas & jilbabs, thobes) to help new Muslims feel welcomed and supported on their journey. Your donations make a real difference.

Our team creates educational guides for Muslims, explaining how to perform wudu and how to pray.
